I recived the rice cooker today. What an unpleasant surprise when the postman told me that I had to pay 5.800 jpy on taxes. It was my fault because I did not read all details on your web. Anyways, I think that you should remark this issue when people is ordering or estimate how much extra money you have to pay on taxes. I paid 15800 jpy for the rice cooker an 14400jpy for delivery and taxes, ridiculous.
Excluding this incident, the procedure was perfect.

I ordered the rice cooker (ZOJIRUSHI IH Rice Cooker & Warmer NP-HLH10XA(220V) [NP-HLH10XA] Selling Price: JPY34,800) on Sunday. I received the rice cooker on Friday. I am glad I paid the few extra JPY as I very much appreciate the speedy 5-day delivery! Last night, we made our first batch of sushi rice and it was perfect: I felt like I was living in Japan again.
I spent a lot of time researching about Zojirushi rice cookers (and consulted with some Japanese friends). I was confused about whether the plug would function well in Europe because the concept of “SE Plug” seems to be entirely Japanese (most of the world would understand a reference to the International Electrotechnical Commission list of plug types better). In any event, I rolled the dice and I am happy to report that a SE Plug works perfectly well in Sweden (which has voltage: 230 V, frequency: 50 Hz and type-F Power sockets, according to the IEC).
Customs was no problem (I paid about 870 SEK).
I also appreciated the slight discount for becoming a member (which takes minimal effort).
Fantastic shopping experience and will recommend to my friends in Europe that they should shop here!
